This page explains what the Local Growth System is, and just as importantly, what it isn't. It applies to the Local Growth System, and to the content on my website, including my About page, videos, and any testimonials or examples I share.
2. Educational Purpose
The Local Growth System is educational. It teaches a framework for diagnosing and improving your marketing, based on my own experience and the patterns I've seen across real local businesses. It is not a done-for-you service, and I do not implement anything on your behalf.
Whether the System works for your business depends on your own effort, your market, your existing customer base, and how closely you apply what's taught. I've built the System to be practical and specific, but I can't control how it's used, and I don't guarantee that following it will produce any particular result.
3. No Guarantee of Results
I do not promise or guarantee any specific outcome, revenue increase, customer growth, or business result from using the Local Growth System. Any example, case study, or projection I share on my website, in my content, or inside the System itself is illustrative, not a prediction of what will happen for your business.
Local business marketing depends on factors outside my control or the System's control, including your industry, your local market, your existing reputation, your pricing, your capacity to execute, and general economic conditions. Past results, mine or any customer's, are not a guarantee of future results for you.
4. Testimonials and Examples
From time to time, I share testimonials, outcomes, or examples from real customers. These reflect that individual business's specific experience and circumstances. They are not typical, and they are not a promise that you will see a similar result. If I ever compensate someone for sharing a testimonial, I will disclose that clearly, as required by law.
5. Not Professional Advice
Nothing in the Local Growth System, on my website, or in any communication from me is legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. I am a marketing practitioner, not an attorney, accountant, or financial advisor. If a decision you're making, such as pricing, business structure, tax treatment, or contracts, requires that kind of expertise, please consult a qualified professional before acting on it.
6. Your Responsibility
You are responsible for how you apply the frameworks, worksheets, and recommendations in the Local Growth System to your own business, including any decisions about pricing, hiring, marketing spend, or strategy that follow from it. I encourage thoughtful, gradual implementation rather than large, irreversible decisions based solely on what you learn in the System.
